The inspiration for this body of work was the California landscape. I wanted to interrupt and distort the rolling hills and valleys of both Northern and Southern California w/ jagged, sharp angles that look like see-through crystals, reinterpreting the traditional landscape and the traditional ideas of natural beauty. The prints are highly saturated to enhance existing colors in nature that reflect my interest in bold color and contrast.
